SHANGHAI, September 2, 2016 – Labbrand hosted a LABSquare breakfast seminar themed “The Myth and Reality of Big Social: Leverage Social Big Data to Elevate Your Brand Strategy” on September 2nd, 2016 at M50 Creative Park in Shanghai. Kevin Gentle, Digital Strategy Director at Labbrand, provided unique perspectives on how brands can best utilize social media big data to inform their business decisions and brand strategy. Brand managers and marketing specialists from international companies across industries attended the event, including Fairmount Hotels, SAIC Volkswagen, Newell Brands, Net-A-Porter and more.
Kevin Gentle pointed out that social media big data is an especially useful tool, however often underutilized. He gave instrumental examples of scenarios in which brands can leverage social media big data most effectively, and illustrated the do’s and don’ts of using it. Benjamin Duvall, Chief Evangelist Asia at Linkfluence, Labbrand’s partner specialized in social media big data tracking, provided great case studies about what questions social media data can answer.
